Langlands Nurseries Environmental Policy

The Horticultural Trades Association, or HTA, was established in 1899 at the Crystal Palace. The primary purpose of the HTA is to provide a comprehensive range of business support, advice and development programmes for all of its members. The HTA is an excellent point of reference and contact for customers, and also provides a range of HTA Gardening Guides.


The HTA and the Horticultural Industry

The HTA is also responsible for representing the horticultural industry to the Government, providing an open platform for discussion between members, authorities and the media.

They also organise a wide variety of industry-related events to help members improve and share ideas, from landscaping events and nursery management to marketing masterclasses and safety seminars.

In addition to industry support, the HTA manages two unique gifting schemes for customers; the National Garden Gift Voucher and the Garden Gift Card, which can be used at all participating HTA Members. These fantastic gifting schemes can be used by customers to buy a wide variety of horticultural products, and are available from a vast number of garden centres, non-industry stores and outlets.
